Her film and television credits include The King of Queens, Zookeeper, Paul Blart: Mall Cop, and Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2. De La Cruz married Kevin James in 2004, and together they have four children.

Steffiana de la Cruz Car Accident
Steffiana was involved in a serious car accident on September 3, 2001, alongside two close friends—Vietnamese-American actress Thuy Trang and model Angela Rockwood. The group had been traveling together, and Steffiana and Trang were scheduled to serve as bridesmaids at Rockwood’s upcoming wedding.
While driving, Steffiana reportedly lost control of the vehicle after hitting loose gravel along the side of the road. The car swerved uncontrollably and struck exposed rocks, resulting in devastating consequences. Angela Rockwood suffered a severe spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the neck down.
Steffiana survived the crash with minor injuries. Tragically, Thuy Trang sustained internal injuries and later died while being transported by helicopter to the hospital.
