Anne-Marie Green (born September 21, 1971) is a seasoned American television journalist currently based in New York City. She serves as a correspondent for CBS News and most recently contributed to the network’s flagship true crime series, 48 Hours.
Green began her journalism career in Ontario, Canada, as a reporter for CKVR-TV in Barrie and Rogers Cable News in Mississauga. In June 2001, she became a news anchor at CITY-TV in Toronto and also anchored for CablePulse 24, a 24-hour news channel serving the Greater Toronto Area.
In October 2004, Green joined KYW-TV (CBS 3) in Philadelphia as a general assignment reporter and Sunday morning co-anchor alongside Ben Simoneau.
Her national career with CBS News began in October 2012, when she became a substitute anchor for Up to the Minute. On January 21, 2013, she was named anchor of the early morning broadcast CBS Morning News, a role she held until October 4, 2024, when she transitioned to CBS’s 48 Hours.
