Barret Oliver (born August 24, 1973) is an American photographer and former child actor, best known for his iconic role as Bastian Balthazar Bux in the film adaptation of Michael Ende’s novel The NeverEnding Story.
He gained further recognition with his performances in D.A.R.Y.L., Cocoon, and its sequel, Cocoon: The Return. After his acting career, Barret transitioned into photography, where he continues to work today.
