Eric Mabius (born April 22, 1971) is an American actor known for his work in both television and film. A native of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he studied cinema at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, where he earned his degree. Mabius began his career in theater before making his film debut in the 1995 independent dark comedy Welcome to the Dollhouse.
He rose to prominence for his portrayal of Daniel Meade, the charismatic editor-in-chief, on the ABC comedy-drama series Ugly Betty. His television credits also include a recurring role on Showtime’s The L Word, and he has appeared in several notable films such as Cruel Intentions, The Crow: Salvation, and Resident Evil.
Since 2013, Mabius has starred as Oliver O’Toole in the Hallmark Channel’s beloved series Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
