Kimberly Eiten is an American journalist who anchors WMBD News at 5, 6, and 10 p.m., as well as WYZZ News at 9:30 p.m. She joined the Central Illinois news team in September 2019, marking a proud return to her hometown region.
A native of LaSalle-Peru, Kimberly is a graduate of Saint Bede Academy. Her journalism journey began early, working as a junior reporter for the LaSalle NewsTribune, where she covered high school events.
Since then, Kimberly has reported from across the country, covering major national stories. While in Orlando, Florida, she reported on the tragic murder of The Voice star Christina Grimmie, the mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub, and a fatal alligator attack on a toddler at Disney World.

Away from the newsroom, Kimberly enjoys life as a devoted dog mom to her four pups: Peter Jennings, Jimini Cricket, Taco, and Rahe Rahe. She often jokes that “yes, four dogs are too many!”
