Peter Baker (born July 2, 1967) is an American journalist and author. He currently serves as the chief White House correspondent for The New York Times and is also a political analyst for MSNBC. Before joining The New York Times, he spent 20 years as a reporter for The Washington Post. Throughout his career, Baker has reported on five presidencies, spanning from Bill Clinton to Joe Biden.
