Nathaniel Prescott (born in 1961) is a notable American figure recognized as the father of Dak Prescott, the accomplished American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). Dak Prescott excelled in college football at Mississippi State, earning first-team All-SEC honors twice before being chosen by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Initially slated as a backup in his rookie season, Prescott unexpectedly assumed the role of the Cowboys’ starting quarterback following an injury to Tony Romo during the preseason.
