Margaret “Peggy” Ebarb Prescott, 52, of Vinton, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at her residence. A memorial service to celebrate Peggy’s life was held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Nibletts Bluff Park in Vinton, Louisiana, with Mr. Anthony Grant officiating.
The cremation was conducted under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in Sulphur, Louisiana, on September 4, 1961, Peggy was the cherished daughter of Glyndell W. and Margaret (Townsend) Ebarb. Peggy found immense joy in her role as a mother, with her sons Thaddeus “Tad” Prescott, Jace Prescott, and Dak Prescott being the center of her world.
An ardent football enthusiast, she took great pleasure in watching her sons play the sport. Peggy was preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her parents, Glyndell and Margaret Ebarb; her sons, Thaddeus “Tad” Prescott, Jace Prescott, and Dak Prescott; her granddaughter, Kennedy; her siblings Melissa Slusher and husband, Bruce, Phillip Ebarb and wife, Stacey, and Valrie Gilbeaux and husband, Troy; her ex-husband, Nathaniel Prescott; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
