Prior to his CEO position, Nadella held the role of Executive Vice President of Microsoft’s cloud and enterprise group, where he played a pivotal role in the development and management of the company’s computing platforms.

Satya’s educational journey began at the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in Karnataka in 1988.
Subsequently, he pursued further studies in the United States, obtaining a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 1990. Later, in 1997, he completed his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
