Steven Furtick (born February 19, 1980) is an American Baptist evangelical Christian pastor, author, and composer associated with Elevation Worship. He is best known as the founder and senior pastor of Elevation Church, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

However, Chunks Corbett, Elevation’s chief financial officer, clarified that the 16,000 square-foot figure is misleading. Only 8,400 square feet of the house will be heated, with the remainder comprising basement, attic, garage, and porch space. Corbett stated that Furtick is funding the construction of the five-bedroom house with income from his published and future books.
It’s important to note that the house is not a parsonage or a gift from Elevation Church, nor is it connected to the church in any way, according to Corbett. Furtick himself mentioned in a sermon that the house is not extravagant, despite being one of the largest in the Charlotte area. It will feature 7.5 bathrooms and an electric gate, as per a building permit. Steven shares the home with his wife Holly and their three children.
