Mauri Goens is an American who is widely known as the ex-wife of Jalen Rose, an American sports analyst, and former professional basketball player. Jalen worked as a Sideline Reporter for the 2006 NBA Playoffs for TNT. Since his retirement in 2007, he has worked at ABC/ESPN, first as an analyst on SportsCenter, and in 2012 Jalen became one of the hosts for NBA Countdown. He has also worked on ESPN’s Grantland. Jalen is the owner of Three Tier Entertainment, an independent, Los Angeles-based management, and production company.

Mauri was married to Jalen Rose, a sports analyst, and former professional basketball player. Jalen became the father of his daughter Mariah Christian Rose born on July 14, 2000, in Indianapolis to Jalen Rose and his then-wife Mauri Goens, who is also a mother of two more children.

Mauri was 23 yrs and serving as a loan officer when she became pregnant with her first child, Dee- the father was a former Atlanta Falcons receiver named Andre Rison. Andre is the guy who dated Lisa Lopes the late TLC member also known as Lisa Left Eye Lopes, who burned down his mansion on the month of June 9, 1994.

Lisa turned herself in a day later, she was charged with a felony, and given 5 years probation.
