During this period, at the age of 20, Keith and his friends, including Scott Webb, Keith Cory, David “Yogi” Vowell, and Danny Smith, among others, formed the Easy Money Band.
They performed at local bars while Keith continued to juggle his responsibilities in the oil industry, sometimes having to leave concerts abruptly if he was called back to work in the oil fields.
